Rail transport is associated with large number of passengers, heavy goods and hopefully a relaxed and scenic journey. While the automotive sector is already very much concerned with the aspect of safety, the same discussion has become even more significant in the rail transport sector. The sensor we have developed not only covers the basic areas of application such as in and on pantographs, wheels, bogies, doors, seats, shock absorbers, brakes, and rails, it offers far more possibilities. We combine multiple sensors into one, reduce displacement and increase possible applications. Our sensors come with state-of-the-art communicative functions that are ideal for predictive maintenance.
